Cadabra Live Release

28 February 2007

Cadabra Limited is pleased to announce that Cadabra Release 1.0 will be available on 28 February 2007. The software is currently being implemented (using Beta software) by a Canadian tour operator, who is expected to launch their website in early March 2007.

Cadabra is an internet based tour planning system that allows consumers to interactively build complex multi destinational personalised tour itineraries. These tools, once combined with high quality content, provide the complete environment for the tourist enabling them to research, then plan then book their tour.

Cadabra's innovative vacation wizard dynamically builds a selection of itineraries based on the criteria people select for their vacation, for example, length of stay, grade of hotel, places they know they want to visit, and the experience and activities that they are interested in, such as natural wonders, cultural experiences, physical outdoor activities, etc.

Once a recommended itinerary has been built, Cadabra will then allow the user to modify it in any way they wish to plan their 'perfect vacation'. As they travel, the tourist can record their impressions and images of each element of their trip to share with friends and future users of the system to further enhance the research elements of the system.

Cadabra has been developed using Microsoft .Net technologies, including:

  • Microsoft.Net2.0 and 3.0 Framework
  • Microsoft C#2.0
  • ADO.NET2.0
  • Microsoft SQL Server 2005
  • ASP.NET and WinForms Clients
  • Internet Information Server 6
